Close to river access, canoeing and tubing, excellent hunting and fishing. 5 miles west of Romney on Rt. 50, right at Fox Hollow Rd., follow double yellow lines as it becomes Middle Ridge Rd. Entrance 2 miles on right.

Hawks Recreation Area/George Washington National Forest

From Capon Springs, WV, take County Rt. 16 (Capon Springs Rd.) southeast 1.7 miles to Forest Rt. 502. Turn right onto Rt. 502 and go 1.3 miles to Public Rd. 347. Turn right onto Rt. 347 and go 0.7 miles to campground entrance on the right.
