“Who Will You Be When History Comes to Life in Romney?" Find Your Character at This Event!
The Romney 250 Celebration Committee & Romney ON TRAC invite you to join us for an historic clothing fashion show& workshop. The goal of the event is to get as many of our residents and visitors as possible into period clothing, to have fun and get into the spirit of the yearlong celebration of Romney's 250th birthday. 1pm Period Clothing Fashion Show, Charles Boland, Moderator. 2pm Refreshments & Workshop.
Chat with the models from the fashion show and visit stations set up around the room with 18th and 19th Century Clothing, seamstresses, fabric swatches, historic re-enactors and many other helpful folks who will be on hand to share information and assist anyone who wants to get into period costume.
Admission: $ 5.00 Adults. Under 18 Free. Tickets are available at The Bottling Works, Romney City Hall, HC Chamber of Commerce, State Farm Insurance Office,Storybook Joinery, Anderson's Corner and from the other members of the Event committee.
Information, cds, catalogs & fabric swatches were sent by several companies and will be available for the audience to peruse. Their sites will be up and running with a volunteer on hand at the Event to assist with ordering. These companies are:
